We were there with my husband and after hiking all we want to do was going back to the motel and spend time relaxing in our room with a breathtaking view. I highly recommend this place if you don’t like hotel chains or big places. We’ll definitely go back.

Calle Madrigales
The beginner’s wave. The southernmost street of Playa Jaco is Calle Madrigales and the break is protected by a rocky outcropping. Here the waves roll in gently and tend to be smaller, making it a great spot for beginner surfers.
Calle Bohio
Located only a two minute walk from our front gate, Calle Bohio is located right in the center of Playa Jaco’s two-mile strip of beach and receives more power from incoming swells. A fun break for intermediate and advanced surfers.
Playa Hermosa
Playa Hermosa is a world-class wave and reserved for advanced surfers only. As the coastline sits further out into the ocean here, swells hit heavy on the shore. Strong currents and large waves make experience a must on this break.
